What’s coming in gMap 3.3.0

gMap 3 3.0 is in early beta stage.

Here is summary of upcoming features:

$('#map').gMap('geocode', 'Krakow, Poland',
    function(position) {
        console.log(position.lat(), position.lng());
    }
);
  • Mapclick event
$('#map').gMap('mapclick',
    function(position) {
        console.log(position.lat(), position.lng());
    }
);
  • Settings modifier
$('#map').gMap('changeSettings',
    {
        zoom: 8,
        latitude: 'fit',
        longitude: 'fit'
    }
);

The list is still open, feel free to request any features in comments.
3.3.0 will be released as soon as I write unit tests and prepare documentation (which is still missing 3.2.0, sorry :/ ).

    Awesome work! The best gmap library by far! If I could request a feature… draggable markers with callback on drop. Also an example php file for ajax json requests would be helpful. I would also love to know how to interact with markers from external links too :) thanks

    Nice stuff again :) Will there be a route planning function in a future release?
